ARTIST PROFILE

Illustrator- Graphic Designer

Konstantina Kakoulidou is an honors graduate of a Vocational High School, holding a specialization diploma in Interior Design and Decoration. She is currently a final-year student in the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the University of West Attica, with a focus on illustration, photography, and graphic storytelling, including the creation of novels.

She has enriched her artistic and academic path through participation in Erasmus+ programs, having been selected for her high academic performance to study at the Budapest Metropolitan University in 2023. She has also taken part in international Youth Exchanges in collaboration with the Microkosmos Italo-Hellenic Cultural Association for Education, including the project “The World at Hand – Braille Comic” in Poland (2026). She is currently participating in another Erasmus+ Youth Exchange program with the same organization (2026).

As a creator, she participated in the Mondocon, a major comics festival and conference held in Budapest. In addition, she worked on the graphic design and layout of educational booklets the θ-ink program of the Ephorate of Antiquities of the City of Athens, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports Greece. Her contributions include the educational publication “With Sikela in the Agora” as well as the program “With the Travelers in Thiseio.”

At the same time, she has contributed to the illustration, color processing, and overall visual identity of the book “The Philhellene Fighter.” Her work reflects a strong engagement with visual storytelling, combining artistic creativity with applied design in educational and cultural contexts.
