KYKLOTHEA: Environmental Education Guide for Schools and Everyday Life
As part of the “Kyklothea – Environment and Action at School” project, MYARTIST presents the Environmental Education Guide for Schools and Everyday Life, an educational resource designed to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable behaviour through simple, practical actions that can be applied in everyday life.
The guide is intended for students, educators, and parents and provides easy-to-understand information on the circular economy, proper waste management, recycling, water and energy conservation, as well as the importance of reuse and responsible consumption. It also includes hands-on activities, educational games, and practical ideas that can be implemented both in the school environment and at home.
Special emphasis is placed on the active involvement of the entire school community, highlighting the important role of students, teachers, and families in fostering environmental awareness. Through leading by example, collaboration, and experiential learning, the guide aims to turn knowledge into action and encourage small everyday changes that can have a meaningful positive impact on the environment.
We hope this guide will serve as a valuable source of inspiration for schools and families wishing to contribute to a more sustainable future, demonstrating that even the smallest everyday actions can make a significant difference.
The activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Implementation of Circular Economy and Creation of a Greenhouse at EEEEK Kallithea”, which was approved by Decision No. 315.3.4/2025 of the Board of Directors of the Green Fund. The project is implemented under the Funding Programme “NATURAL ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE NEUTRALITY 2024”, Priority Axis 2 (PA.2) “INNOVATIVE ACTIONS WITH CITIZENS”.
