Established in 2018, MYARTIST Social Cooperative Enterprise is committed to fostering social progress, enhancing cultural accessibility, and ensuring sustainable operations. Recognizing the urgent need to address global environmental challenges, MYARTIST has integrated sustainability principles into all aspects of its operations—from art-based programs to inclusive educational curricula.

This Green Policy outlines the organization’s strategic approach to sustainability, aiming to reduce environmental impact while contributing to global efforts to combat climate change.

Objectives

The Green Policy of MYARTIST aims to achieve three core objectives:

• To integrate environmental education into diverse, culturally relevant programs that raise awareness through artistic expression.
• To develop environmental competencies in young people and vulnerable groups, empowering them with green skills.
• To support the co-creation of digital environmental tools and promote peer-led sustainable practices.

MYARTIST advocates for cultural accessibility as an integral part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By fostering adaptability and resilience through inclusive programs, the organization seeks to reduce the social and economic costs associated with climate change.

Key Areas of Action

Programs like “Greenability” enables MYARTIST to promote green skill education for young people and disabled individuals as it helps advance environmental sustainability goals. All educational seminars and initiatives follow the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by combining cultural accessibility principles with environmental awareness concepts that match Articles 30 and 32.

As part of its mission MYARTIST develops and distributes free digital tools which protect the environment alongside promoting peer-made content while supporting techno-sustainable principles of inclusivity. The organization protects heritage through sustainable activities which support biodiversity education under the guidance of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030. The organization works on climate change adaptation along with resilience through building resistant cultural projects linked to creative solutions which help environmental adaptation while supporting the EU Climate Adaptation Strategy.

MYARTIST implements its operations according to sustainability-focused European Union policies which focus on social integration and green innovation. The organization supports the European Green Deal by focusing on:

• The organization develops projects that push toward climate-neutral society development by creating both environmental consciousness and resilient systems.
• Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 of the EU promotes ecological commitment and cultural heritage conservation and biodiversity protection.
• The organization works to achieve Circular Economy goals by supporting resource-effective practices and innovative peer creation methods as outlined in the Circular Economy Action Plan.
• The inclusive growth strategy promotes expanded accessibility and empowerment for every citizen including both impaired individuals and children with learning difficulties thus creating educational possibilities along with creative growth opportunities.

Implementation and Monitoring

MYARTIST conducts periodic evaluations of this Green Policy to adapt it to evolving sustainable standards and expand its environmental protection as well as accessibility and green skills promotion measures. Progress will be measured through:
