On Thursday, May 8 at 19:30, IANOS collaborator Thanasis Panou hosted poet Antonis Ampartzidis as part of the discussion series “Meetings with Young Poets”<\/em> at the IANOS caf\u00e9 in Athens.<\/p>\n

Inspired by his poetry collections “Skala”<\/em> (Thermaikos Publications, 2019) and “Akathistos”<\/em> (IANOS Publications, 2023), the poet discussed his influences, creative triggers, and first encounters with the art of poetry.<\/p>\n

About the Guest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Antonis Dionysios Ampartzidis was born in 1988. He holds a degree in Political Science and History from Panteion University and a Master’s in Shipping and Business Services from the University of the Aegean. His poems have been featured in various anthologies and published online. His debut poetry collection, “Skala”<\/em>, was published in 2019, followed by “Akathistos”<\/em>, his second major work.
