Gender-Inclusive Practices

MYARTIST: Advancing Gender-Inclusive Practices and Global Equality

At MYARTIST, we embrace diversity in all its dimensions, with an unwavering commitment to fostering gender expression and identity. Acknowledging the profound influence of language in shaping cultural perceptions, we proactively implement gender-neutral communication to promote inclusivity and challenge stereotypes.

Our Commitment to Gender-Inclusive Language

Our approach aligns with internationally recognized standards and best practices, including:

Practical Implementation

To uphold our commitment, we integrate the following inclusive practices into our daily operations:

  • Eliminating Gender-Biased Terms – We ensure our language reflects the full spectrum of gender identities by removing unnecessary distinctions.
  • Using Inclusive Pronouns – We employ gender-neutral pronouns to respectfully acknowledge all individuals, including those who prefer not to disclose their gender identity.
  • Honoring Self-Identification – We recognize and respect individuals’ chosen names and pronouns, fostering a culture of affirmation and belonging.

Our goal is to create an environment where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered, challenging traditional gender norms and promoting a broader societal acceptance of diversity.

Advancing Global Gender Equality

Achieving gender equality is an urgent global imperative. Systemic inequalities disproportionately affect women, girls, and gender minorities, particularly in times of crisis. True gender equity is not merely a matter of fairness—it is a fundamental prerequisite for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful world.

Addressing gender equality requires a multifaceted and intersectional approach, including:

  • Legislative and policy reforms that dismantle structural barriers to equal participation and protection.
  • Corporate social responsibility initiatives that embed inclusivity into workplace cultures and economic systems.
  • Personal and societal behavioral shifts that challenge unconscious biases and expand opportunities for all individuals.

The World Bank Group (WBG) Gender Strategy 2024-2030

The WBG Gender Strategy 2024-2030 underscores the urgency of accelerating gender equality to eliminate poverty and drive sustainable development. As part of the World Bank Group Evolution Roadmap, this framework builds upon its predecessor (2016-2023) with a renewed dedication to integrating gender equity into global developmental efforts.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Eliminating Gender-Based Violence – Combating violence, discrimination, and harmful gender norms through policy and advocacy.
  • Enhancing Human Capital Resilience – Expanding equitable access to education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
  • Expanding Career Pathways – Creating inclusive job opportunities and equipping individuals for the evolving workforce.
  • Boosting Economic Equity – Strengthening financial asset management and user rights for historically marginalized communities.
  • Widening Access to Essential Services – Ensuring inclusive access to fundamental social and economic resources.
  • Encouraging Leadership & Decision-Making Participation – Advancing gender-balanced representation in governance, policy-making, and corporate leadership.

This strategy emerged from two years of extensive consultations through the Accelerate Equality campaign (Phase I: January 2022 – July 2023) and formal discussions (Phase II: July – November 2023). Over 1,000 stakeholders—including government officials, academics, civil society organizations, and private sector representatives from 110+ countries—contributed insights to shape this comprehensive roadmap.

MYARTIST’s Role in Advancing Gender Equality

At MYARTIST, we understand that true inclusivity extends beyond language. We are committed to embedding gender-sensitive dialogue and practices in alignment with global initiatives such as the WBG Gender Strategy. By integrating intersectional approaches and supporting meaningful structural change, we strive to create a more equitable world.

We believe that everyone deserves the right to self-expression, dignity, and respect—regardless of gender identity, cultural background, or lived experience.

Our work is not just about advocating for change—it is about demanding it, creating it, and living it. We refuse to accept the status quo of exclusion and inequality. Through language, art, and activism, we dismantle barriers, amplify underrepresented voices, and build pathways toward true equity.

We do not wait for permission to rewrite the narrative—we take the pen and write it ourselves. The fight for gender justice is now, and we stand at the forefront, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Together, we are not just shaping a more inclusive future—we are forging a present where diversity is power, equity is non-negotiable, and every voice, no matter how silenced before, is heard, valued, and celebrated.
